The EKATVA project, though mainly consisting of focus on the daily minutia and detail with our children, is a project grand in nature – based on the goal to tour the world with our children. This type of project requires a lot of support in all areas in order to be executed successfully. Nimesh Patel, Manav Sadhna and all of the EKATVA leadership team are all well connected across the world especially in the U.S. and U.K. This vast network of relationships will be the supporting web for the execution of the project across the world. 

Organizations that will play an integral role in the coordination, execution and support of the EKATVA tour are the following:

Manav Sadhna USA – Chicago

The US arm of Manav Sadhna is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit based out of Chicago, Illinois. MS USA contributes to the Manav Sadhna mission through fundraising, promoting volunteerism and serving in the local Chicago communities. Approximately 60% of Manav Sadhna’s project funds are generated through MS USA.

 

Compassionate Chefs Cafe – San Francisco

Compassionate Chefs Cafe is a non-profit organization with one goal: Help children locally and globally. They work with the Tenderloin After School Program (TASP), San Francisco and Gandhi Ashram, Ahmedabad, India to uplift the lives of the children and provide them with important resources to become members of the global village.

 

Hunton & Williams LLC – Washington DC

A large International law firm that has been selflessly serving us pro bono and helping us with every step of the U.S visa process. It has more than 800 attorneys practicing from 19 offices across the United States, Europe and Asia. They help clients realize new opportunities and solve complex problems with confidence.

 

Project Ahimsa – San Francisco & NYC

Project Ahimsa is a global effort to empower youth through music. Since 2002, the organization has helped establish and support music education programs throughout the world, serving more than 10,000 children to date. Through friends of Project Ahimsa, the EKATVA project has received its first amount of financial support.

 

Service Space – Berkeley

Service Space is an all-volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that leverages technology to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities regardless of their skills, time, location and interests. Service Space provides assistance to nonprofit organizations worldwide and creates inspiring local events that manifest the spirit of service.

 

BSafal – Ahmedabad, India

BSafal’ (Safal Construction) took shape in 1995 with the intention and to create residential and commercial spaces that exceeded consumer’s aspirations. Since then it has reinvented the landscape in and around Ahmedabad.

 

Be The Cause – Los Angeles & Houston

Be the Cause is a volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit family of good doers. Since conception in 2002, Be the Cause has organized over 400 projects in numerous countries and has probably contributed millions of dollars in volunteer hours. Its impact is still measured by the changes that take place in each individual heart.

 

The Martin Luther King Jr. Research and Education Institute – Stanford

The Institute’s endowment supports programs that serve as an enduring link between Stanford’s research resources and King’s dream of global peace with social justice. In 2009, it awarded Manav Sadhna the Martin Luther King Jr. Award for its commitment to selfless service.

 

Mehta Family Foundation – Houston

The Mehta Family Foundation is an organization dedicated to improving lives through access to education. Since 1998 the Foundation has awarded interest free loans to students who had limited resources. The Foundation has expanded its work into higher education capacity building, poverty alleviation, and medical research.

 

Darpana Academy of Performing Arts – Ahmedabad, India

The Ekatva show has been developed and choreographed by Mallika Sarabhai and her staff at Darpana Academy. Darpana was founded over six decades ago and has over 25,000 graduates, nearly 11000 performances, and audiences in 90 countries. It is world-renowned institution of innovation in performance and the arts.

 

India First Foundation School – Karjat, India

IFFS goes beyond conventional education and develop students into well rounded individuals, inculcate in them values of integrity and ability to distinguish the appropriate from the inappropriate. All of this we aim to provide in a conducive, creative and a secure environment.

 

Connect India

Connect India is a UK organisation (registered charity no. 1111113) that runs events and experiential development programmes to empower British Indians to realize their full potential to make a positive change to the world. Connect India draws inspiration from Manav Sadhna’s principles and ideals.
